I just discovered him today so he is the first official Artist of the Day (drum roll and confetti flies). His lyrics are poetic genius and his choice of musical simplicity reminds me of the electricity that Alexi Murdoch creates. Mark Eitzel also wins today's prize because he has a cool name. He was in American Music Club which I am embarrassed to say I am unfamiliar with (until today!). Plus he wins as today's artist because of his spooky cool portrait on Imeem.com. Oh, and his music is realllllly nice: Good mellow thinking music. Enjoy!
