Photographer Harry Callahan's book has earned a spot in my top 100 books but I am honestly not really sure why. After reviewing some of his images just now I really don't have any reaction to them. I think they serve me on a more subconscious level. That is the only way i can explain it. They move me i am sure of it. I just don't have words to explain why or how. I don't want to get into it. I guess some things just can't be explained.
His favorite subject was his wife Eleanor and their daughter Barbara.
